Do you want to escape just for a weekend in the German capital? Put on your Kluma shoes and go for an alternative and colorful visit to the Berlin streets.

Street art is everywhere in Berlin. The greatest artists were there and they left their footprints. Searching of their creations is also a great way to discover the different parts of the city. Some ideas to start well for you week end:

Kreuzberg district

At the junction between East and West, Kreuzberg is a popular, cosmopolitan and exciting. Besides the fact that it is one of the busiest places of outputs, you will discover the inescapable and iconic works of street art.

Great design on Oppelner Strasse

One of the most famous graffiti in the city. Come and see the after dark for a visual surprise. (Skalitzer Strasse)

Prenzlauer Berg district

Among a multitude of cool little bars and alternative restaurants, you will also find multiple “collages” and stencils scattered everywhere. El Bocho and Robi The Dog have been there! Remember to take a turn at Mauerpark which are held every Sunday a flea market and various artistic performances. You can also put your graffiti on a piece of the remaining wall.

Friedrichshain district 

Emblematic place, the East Side Gallery is one of the largest open air gallery in the world. 1.3km comic frescos by artists of the most preserved of the Berlin Wall. Listed as a historical monument.

Berlin’s streets are a must for all lovers of urban art. You can create your own itinerary or just hang out in the city and be amazed at the corner of an alley.
